FOOD AS MEDICINE Traditional Tibetan Medicine in Everyday Life

Join us for a half-day workshop on using food as medicine in Tibetan Medicine. This workshop will lay the foundation you need to begin integrating dietary wisdom from one of the world’s oldest, deepest healing traditions into your everyday life.

We will discuss the potencies of common foods and spices, with a focus on eating seasonally, to cultivate health and delight through food.

Light refreshments and Tibetan herbal teas will be served.

Taught by Lilly Atlihan and Dr. Palnam Jinpa, aka OSEL Tibetan Medicine, partner-practitioners serving the greater New York area. Sorig Khang New York (under the direction of Dr. Nida Chenagtsang) is delighted to co-host OSEL Tibetan Medicine teachings such as this event, and looks forward to future collaboration presenting various Sorig Khang curriculum.
